ABSHER®

The Comprehensive Electronic Services Platform.

The Situation

Absher was already the Kingdom’s most-used government services platform — the digital front door to the Ministry of Interior and its sectors, serving citizens, residents, and visitors. What it wasn’t was a brand.

The platform had grown organically. Services multiplied. Sub-brands appeared — Absher Business, Absher Government — each carrying its own color, its own expression, its own interpretation of what Absher looked like. In a system where citizens interact with the government daily, inconsistency reads as unreliability.

The challenge wasn’t a redesign. It was unification — one brand that could hold individual services, business services, and government services under one coherent system, without losing the warmth of a platform that serves millions.

Science

Brand Foundation

We started with a question, not an answer: what does a “comprehensive electronic services platform” actually feel like to the person using it?

The answer was already embedded in the mark itself — Absher, meaning “glad tidings.” A platform that brings good news. Services that arrive before you expect them. A government that shows up for its people.

The name became the doctrine. And the doctrine became a system of three brand formations — one master mark, adapted for three distinct audiences:

  • Absher Individual — the master brand, green, the primary platform
  • Absher Business — blue, for the commercial sector
  • Absher Government — gold, for government entities

One mark. Three colors. Three audiences. Never off-key.

Design & Development

Then we built what the citizen would feel.

The Absher mark was formalized into a precise geometric construction — every stroke measured, every curve specified. Seven vertical bars representing people. Four dots representing connection. A quarter-circle in the upper right representing the rise. A single dot at the base representing the citizen at the center. The entire mark built on a 5mm grid — discipline made visible.

That construction became the system’s DNA. The same geometry that builds the logo also builds the corporate character — a friendly, hand-drawn figure derived from the mark itself, welcoming citizens into the platform. The same proportions govern the wayfinding icons. The same measurement discipline governs the stationery grid.

A color system built on four primary colors — Absher Green (the master), Absher Blue (business), Absher Gold (government), and Absher Grey. Each used at 100% for the mark, available at 10–100% for collateral. A full background color guide showing exactly how the mark behaves on every surface.

Droid Arabic Kufi for Arabic — a typeface that balances modernity with the clarity required for government services. Tahoma and Helvetica for English. Full stationery systems — letterhead, memo, fax, business cards, A3/A4/DL envelopes, email signatures, PowerPoint templates. Uniforms for hospitality and international representation. A social media template system with specified clear space and grid.

And the platform itself — Absher.sa — became the living expression of the system. Every service, every screen, every interaction running on one brand.

One system, from the platform to the pin on the uniform.

The Proof

Absher now presents as one platform — one mark, three audiences, one standard — across digital services, government offices, business partnerships, and every citizen touchpoint in between.

The brand system runs without BrainDing in the room. The three-color system separates audiences without fragmenting the brand. The corporate character carries warmth without diluting authority. The platform handles millions of transactions with a visual language that is instantly recognizable — and instantly trusted.

The result isn’t a manual. It’s a position.

Absher — The electronic platform for the Ministry of Interior’s services, providing services to citizens, residents and visitors.
